The two-time defending National Basketball Association champs won't match the Cleveland Cavaliers' two-year, $6 million offer sheet for McCaw, barring a late change of heart, league sources told ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski.

It has not yet been determined how long it will be before McCaw can return to game action after sitting out the season's first three months.

He'll also got a major boost in pay after signing a two-year, $1.44 million deal with the Warriors in 2016.
