According to Fox News, the driver noticed his vehicle smoking and was able to escape safely.

Lexington Police officers mourned the loss of the doughnuts in a social media post that is making waves across the internet for all the right reasons.

The fire was extinguished quickly and the cause remains undetermined.

The department posted an image of officers mourning the loss of the truck with the caption, "No words".
