Meghan Markle Announces First Royal Patronages

The former Suits star began her day at Smart Works, a United Kingdom charity that helps unemployed women regain the confidence they need to return to the workforce.

Other reports claimed that Prince Harry's wife was responsible for three royal aides quitting, after she "shook up the household with 5am emails".

After holding the role for the last 45 years, Her Majesty the Queen has passed on the patronage to the Duchess of Sussex. Smart Works is "a United Kingdom charity that provides high quality interview clothes and interview training to unemployed women in need".

The statement explained how Meghan feels she can "use her position to focus attention on, and make a particular difference to these organisations", revealing she has been having secret meetings with these organisations for the a year ago as they plan their work together.
