14 September, 2018, 19:02 | Author: Ron Miles

Verizon will start installations of its 5G home-broadband service on October 1, in what the company says will be the world's first 5G commercial service.

This new 5G service will be available to customers living in four major USA cities: Houston, Indianapolis, Los Angeles and Sacramento.

Verizon's 5G Home service will be free for the first three months, after which the service will cost $US50 a month for existing Verizon customers and $US70 a month for non-Verizon customers. The monthly rate includes all taxes and fees and there is no annual contract required.

Ex-Trump campaign chief to plead guilty before new trial
On Twitter on August 22, Trump wrote: "Unlike Michael Cohen, he refused to "break" - make up stories in order to get a 'deal". Another approach would be for him to plead guilty without cooperating in hopes of a presidential pardon.

In some of its early discussions about its fixed 5G plans, Verizon executives hinted that the company was working on technology that would allow customers to install their own 5G 28 GHz receivers inside their homes or offices in order to obtain a 5G signal. And best of all, there will be no data caps... Interestingly, customers who sign up for the service will get Verizon 5G Home for free for first three months.

The Verizon network is based on a flavor of 5G developed by the company itself while it waits for the telecom industry to catch up on industry standards. The major difference with 5G is that it's much faster and can be used outside of mobile uses, such as home internet. "We will deliver a revolutionary 5G experience that will change how people live, work and play". The provider's eleven pre-industrial 5G trial networks - in Sacramento; Ann Arbor, Michigan; Atlanta, Georgia; Dallas and Houston, Texas; Miami, Florida; Seattle, Washington; Washington DC; Bernardsville, Fresh Jersey; Brockton, Massachusetts; and Denver, Colorado - bear been deployed during 2017.
