Today, for Chrome's 10th birthday, Google's given its prized web browser a ton of new features, starting with a redesign aimed at speedier browsing.

Rounded corners also make their way to the address bar itself, with Google believing that the new look will make it easier for users to distinguish between tabs when they have lots open at once.

Amazon becomes 2nd US company to reach $1 tril. market value
The company's stock has surged more than 70 percent since January, outperforming Apple, which has gained more than 30 percent. Amazon shares were last up 1.1 per cent at $2,035.69, pulling back slightly from the milestone level of $2050.2677.

The company has now revealed Chrome 69, as well as some insights into where it is headed in the future.

After testing custom wallpapers from Google Photos and custom shortcuts in the Canary version, Google is now rolling out these features to the stable version of Chrome. There, you should see the option to update. On mobile, open Apple App store or Google Play Store to update the app. If you've been running any of the Chrome Beta builds, this will look familiar, but everyone should get the new coat of paint today. The new design was based on Material Design principles. You can see it across all platforms-desktop, Android, and iOS-where you'll notice more rounded shapes, new icons and a new color palette. More specifically in iOS the toolbar has been moved to the bottom - thumb friendly. And, of course, it'll remember it for you, too.

Amazon reaches US$1 trillion in market value
Amazon's success pushed Jeff Bezos, founder and CEO, to the top of Forbes' billionaires list this year. The stock gained 2% to hit the magic number of $2,050.27, or R31,356, per share on Tuesday .

Chrome's also adding greater control over the shortcuts available on a new tab page, and improved accuracy for autofill forms (hopefully it will stop placing the first two lines of my address in the Address 1 form).

On top of that, Chrome now also lets you search for a website in your Omnibox. This will now be applied across a number of other searches including weather, questions, sporting events and public figures. Google is also planning on adding the ability to search for files stored in Google Drive to the Omnibox.

I should learn from Roger Federer, says 'done nothing' Nick Kyrgios
On court microphones picked up Kyrgios saying that Federer's wonderful effort "the greatest shot you've ever seen". Federer had the luxury of a two-set lead when the two produced their most entertaining exchanges.

Google Chrome has just turned 10 years old. The browser will now generate new and secure passwords for you so that you can finally stop using the name of your favorite band as a password for all your accounts. This password will be saved in the built-in password manager so that the next time you visit that site it automatically fills the account credentials. "Chrome will save it, and next time you sign in, it'll be there, on both your laptop and phone", said Google. Google claims the majority of the visual changes introduced with this anniversary revamp of Chrome are aimed at improving one's productivity and are much more than a simple change for change's sake. After this new update, it will be mandatory for the websites to ask for permission to use Flash after every browser restart. You will certainly need a little getting used to, though the new changes are more than fantastic.
